We are very pleased to announce that Lenovo has been recognized with more prestigious design awards! The latest are the iF DESIGN AWARDS, the iF has been recognizing great design for 65 years. Each year, iF International Forum Design GmbH organizes one of the world's most celebrated and valued design competitions: the iF DESIGN AWARD. Recognized as a symbol of design excellence around the world, the iF DESIGN AWARD welcomes over 5,000 submissions from 70 countries every year.
The iF DESIGN AWARD has long become a symbol for excellent form, for aesthetic quality, and for user-focused, ergonomic and efficient design in all disciplines, by companies around the world. This year the jury awarded Lenovo for the following 12 great designs:
ThinkPad anniversary Edition TP25
ThinkPad 25 is a product developed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the ThinkPad. Many of the design points followed the results of an online customer survey conducted by Lenovo.
ThinkPad X1 Tablet
As a member of the new ThinkPad X1 series, the X1 Tablet (available soon) is designed to evoke delight in the business professional through a premium feel. The large 13-inch display and other specifications provide superior user experience comparable to a business laptop while being thinner and providing more flexibility by working as a stand-alone tablet.
ThinkVision X1 Monitor
The X1 monitor exemplifies the best in display technology. The slimmest 4K display comes with a low profile stand, built-in speakers, USB hub, Thunderbolt connectivity, and automatic hidden camera. The 4K bezel-less display is just 4.7mm thick. The minimalist stand, with flower-like stem and base, allows the infinity image to optically float above the desk.
ThinkVision X24 Monitor
ThinkVision X24 design is exceptionally thin, light and elegant. The 23.8” IPS panel is 4mm thick with near a borderless image of 5mm. The slim form is enhanced by an exposed rear panel surface and tapered cover, with a dark metallic finish.
The YOGA 730 (available soon) is one of the simplest and purest laptop designs available. Thanks to ultra-slim display borders, the 730 houses a comparably large screen, which enables mobile users who need more viewing area to stick with the travel-friendly 13” footprint.
IdeaPad 20 series notebook family
The Lenovo Ideapad series (available soon) is designed for young people, especially Millennials. The products have a simple appearance that marry design and high performance. From premium to essential, Lenovo use the same unique dynamic box design language.
The Lenovo Miix 630 (available soon) is the world’s first ARM-based 2-in-1 laptop. This ultra-slim detachable notebook with detachable keyboard cover combines a full keyboard in a protective case with a buried adjustable hinge, providing a clean outside surface.
Ideacentre 730s AIO
The AIO 730s (available soon) is an ultra-slim All-In-One desktop PC with a clean, space-saving design, featuring a stunning, borderless display and advanced in-cell touch. The design highlights its frameless display and ultra-thin profile. Premium finishes and an environmentally friendly woven fabric speaker cover makes this an excellent fit for sophisticated interiors.

The stylish and playful form of the new Lenovo Smart Display (available soon) is marriage of form and function; it acts as the central unifying element in the expanding world of IoT devices and curates our smart home experience.

Lenovo SmartVest is the world’s first 12-lead ECG smartwear, which features a 360-degree heart scan and 24-hour continuous monitoring. With the ability to forecast heart risks 8 hours in advance, this vest can save lives. The vest uses 10 flexible-textile electrodes for all-day comfort wearing. In addition, a mobile app enables the patient to check real-time health information. The app also syncs data to the Cloud, which supports the doctor in diagnosing remotely.
Lenovo Medicine Card is a printable card to help patients understand how to take their medication. Oftentimes, hospital clinics in China distribute first-aid pain-relief medication to patients without clear instructions. A common problem for patients is remembering what their medicine is and how to take it. The Medicine Card elegantly solves these usability problems by presenting quick information in visual instructions.
